REFUGE DES SCOUTS DES TROIS-PISTOLES
Trois-Pistoles Scouts Shelter
The Trois-Pistoles Scouts Shelter is a rustic, community-style shelter that has recently been renovated and can accommodate up to 8 people per night. Hikers appreciate spending a comfortable night there, and the outdoor fire pit makes it possible to enjoy beautiful starry evenings. Please note that advance reservations are required.
Capacity: 8 people
Equipment: Wood stove, nearby dry toilet and basic kitchenware.
Water: The Trois-Pistoles River is the closest place to collect water, located approximately 250 metres away. It is recommended to bring the necessary equipment to treat the water before drinking it, or to bring potable water.
Location: Located at km 9 of the Littoral Basques section, the shelter is 500 m from Sault MacKenzie and 200 m from the Sault Mackenzie parking lot, located on Route du Sault in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges.
REFUGE DU RUISSEAU NOIR
Le refuge du Ruisseau Noir is a rustic shelter that can accommodate up to 8 people per night. It is located in the heart of the forest, and hikers appreciate the peaceful surroundings. Please note that advance reservations are required.
Capacity: Between 4 and 8 people
Equipment: Wood stove, bunks, table and benches, nearby dry toilet.
Water: A stream runs near the shelter. It is recommended to bring the necessary equipment to treat the water before drinking it, or to bring potable water.
Location: The shelter is located in the Les Érables section.
REFUGE DES TROIS ROCHES
Le refuge des Trois Roches is a rustic shelter that can accommodate up to 4 people per night. It is located near the trail, and hikers appreciate the peaceful surroundings. Please note that advance reservations are required.
Capacity: Maximum 4 people
Equipment: Wood stove, bunks, table and benches, nearby dry toilet.
Water: A river, the Trois-Pistoles River, runs near the shelter. It is recommended to bring the necessary equipment to treat the water before drinking it, or to bring potable water.
Location: The Trois-Roches Shelter is located at the junction of the “Rivière des Trois Pistoles” and “Sénescoupé” sections, near the bridge of the same name, Trois-Roches Bridge.
